About Kapenguria Constituency
Historical Background
Kapenguria Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of four constituencies of West Pokot County. The constituency was created in 1988 . The other constituencies in West Pokot County are Pokot South, Sigor and Kacheliba.
The constituency has six wards - Kapenguria, Sook, Mnagei, Siyoi, Riwo and Endugh.
The Constituency has a population of 147,743 people. The current Member of Parliament (MP) is Hon. Samuel Chumei Moroto.
